Call Recording Disclosure

Effective date: August 14, 2026 Last updated: August 14, 2026

Nunclara's AI phone agent answers calls on behalf of home service Contractors, and those calls are recorded and transcribed as part of the Service. This page explains how recording and consent work, for both Contractors and Callers.

For Callers

If you called a business that uses Nunclara, your call may have been answered by an AI phone agent, and the call was likely recorded and transcribed so the business can review what was discussed, follow up accurately, and keep a record of the request.

Where required by law, our agent discloses at the start of the call that the call may be recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, you can let the agent know, or ask to speak with the business directly through another channel.

Recordings and transcripts are shared with the business you called, so they can respond to your request. They are not sold or used to advertise to you.

For Contractors

Legal basis for recording

Call recording consent law varies by state and generally falls into two categories:

Because Callers can be located anywhere, Nunclara's AI agent plays a brief recording disclosure at the start of every call by default, regardless of the state the call originates from. This is the simplest way to stay compliant across every jurisdiction a Caller might be calling from, and it's the default configuration on your account.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for:

If you have questions about whether your specific configuration meets your state's requirements, we recommend confirming with your own legal counsel — Nunclara's default disclosure is designed for broad compliance but is not a substitute for advice specific to your business.

Where recordings go

Recordings and transcripts are stored on Nunclara's infrastructure, made available to you through the portal, and retained according to the schedule in our Privacy Policy. They are processed by our voice AI provider, Bland AI, solely to deliver the Service to you.
